As a Propulsion Engineer, you’ll sit at the intersection of engineering design, manufacturing, integration, and test
. You’ll work closely with design and production teams, helping turn high-level concepts into flight-ready hardware
. This entry-level position is hands-on, high-impact, and perfect for recent graduates or early-career engineers looking to build a career in aerospace.
- Collaborate with teams to turn concepts into detailed, buildable hardware.
- Assist in planning, building, and testing propulsion and vehicle components.
- Support the transition from prototype to production for complex assemblies.
- Simplify processes, eliminate waste, and improve workflow efficiency.
- Participate in tooling, test flow, and full vehicle integration processes.
- Help run test procedures and validate flight hardware readiness.
- Work across production, test, and engineering teams to solve real-world problems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Manufacturing, or related Engineering field.
- Hands-on experience with hardware from labs, internships, or project teams.
- Comfort with CAD, hand tools, and test equipment.
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes such as machining, welding, forming, etc.
- Strong problem-solving skills and curiosity to learn through building, testing, and iterating.
- Experience designing or building hardware that has flown, broken, or both.
- Familiarity with Siemens NX/Teamcenter.
- Leadership or mentorship experience on projects.
- Experience supporting fast-paced production lines or test infrastructure.
This is a hands-on, learning-intensive role where early-career engineers can gain experience across design, manufacturing, integration, and testing of advanced propulsion systems. You’ll work in a fast-paced environment, contribute to high-impact aerospace projects, and have the opportunity to grow alongside senior engineers.
