Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Azure Cloud Engineer to join our onsite team in Atlanta. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience designing, implementing, and optimizing Azure cloud solutions, with a focus on scalability, cost efficiency, security, and reliability. This role will work closely with application, infrastructure, and security teams to support and modernize cloud-based platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage Azure cloud infrastructure and services
- Implement and manage Azure networking
, including VNets, subnets, routing, and connectivity - Configure and support Azure API Management and Azure Front Door for secure and scalable application delivery
- Optimize Azure App Services to reduce operational costs while maintaining performance, stability, and availability
- Support identity and access management using Azure Entra (Azure AD)
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve cloud infrastructure and application issues
- Apply cloud governance, security, and best practices
- Collaborate with development and Dev Ops teams on cloud architecture and automation
- 5+ years of experience as an Azure Cloud Engineer or in a similar cloud-focused role
- Strong understanding of Azure networking concepts (VNets, NSGs, routing, peering)
- Hands-on experience with Azure API Management and Azure Front Door
- Proven experience optimizing Azure App Services for cost, performance, and reliability
- Solid understanding of Azure Entra / Azure Active Directory
- Experience with Power Shell scripting for automation and administration
- One or more Azure Certifications (e.g., AZ-104, AZ-305, or similar)
- Experience working in enterprise or regulated environments
- This is an onsite role based in Atlanta, GA
- Strong communication and collaboration skills are required
