Role DescriptionThe Splicing Director is a full-time, on-site role based in the Atlanta Metropolitan Area. This position involves overseeing the splicing operations for fiber optic projects, ensuring quality standards, and meeting project deadlines. Responsibilities include managing splicing teams, troubleshooting issues, coordinating project schedules, maintaining safety protocols, and collaborating with other departments for efficient integration and execution of fiber projects. The role also includes reviewing project scopes, providing technical guidance, and ensuring operational compliance with industry regulations and client specifications.
Qualifications- Strong leadership and team management skills to oversee splicing teams and project workflows
- Deep knowledge of fiber splicing techniques, tools, and materials
- Proficiency in testing and troubleshooting fiber optic networks using industry-standard tools
- Understanding of telecommunications infrastructure, including engineering and maintenance processes
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and project management skills
- Familiarity with industry safety protocols and compliance standards
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and internal teams
- Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
- Previous experience in a similar role in telecommunications or fiber optic projects is strongly preferred
