Engineer and/or Project Manager

to join our growing engineering group in Atlanta, Ga.Typical assignments will entail engineering design, and project management of water and wastewater-related projects.

Initial assignment swill include performance and management of activities related to ongoing wastewater collection system assessment and rehabilitation programs.

• Sewer collection system assessment and design;
• Projectmanagementandcontractadministrationforsewersystemsassessment and cleaning contracts;
• Maintain contracts related to field activity, submittals, financials, and schedules;
• Coordinatewithinspectionsandfieldengineeringwithinspectionstaffand managers;
• Organizeandleadprogressmeetingswith Contractorstodiscussdata,schedule, work assignments and deficiencies; document and file meeting minutes;
• Createworkorderassignmentsasneededthroughtheassetmanagement system;
• Map creation and manipulation within Arc Map GIS;
• Coordinate with Community Outreachtokeeptheminformedofongoingand  upcoming work;
• Provide QA/QC for assessment videos and data;
• Review and approve Contractors pay applications;
• Maintainuptodateprojectdocuments(RFI’s,finaldeliverablesandschedules) on project drives;
• Review and respond to Contractor RFI’s;
• Provide monthly progress reports and data metrics reporting;
• Utilization of Pipe Assessment Certification Program (PACP) certification to review and manage data received;
• Provide additional program support as needed.

• Minimum 5 years of progressive work experience in sewer collection systems planning, assessment and design.
• BS or MS in Civil/Environmental Engineering or related field is required.
• Ability to express ideas clearly and concisely with written and verbal communication.
• Team player, a professional who is eager to collaborate and communicate with project team members.
  
  Must have ability to interface with other disciplines and employees.
• Possessorabilitytoobtain
  
  PACPcertificationwithinfirst3monthsof employment.
• Abilitytocoordinateandinterfacewithotherphasesofaproject,clients and regulatory agencies as required.
• Proficiency in GIS based software is required.
• Basic CAD software skills are preferred.
• Proficient with MS Office Suite.
• Abilitytoperformdutieswithonlygeneralsupervisionwithacapacitytoexercise independent judgment and initiative for project related tasks.
• Valid driver's license.
