Project
Engineer and/or Project Manager
to join our growing engineering group in Atlanta, Ga.Typical assignments will entail engineering design, and project management of water and wastewater-related projects.
Initial assignment swill include performance and management of activities related to ongoing wastewater collection system assessment and rehabilitation programs.
- Sewer collection system assessment and design;
- Projectmanagementandcontractadministrationforsewersystemsassessment and cleaning contracts;
- Maintain contracts related to field activity, submittals, financials, and schedules;
- Coordinatewithinspectionsandfieldengineeringwithinspectionstaffand managers;
- Organizeandleadprogressmeetingswith Contractorstodiscussdata,schedule, work assignments and deficiencies; document and file meeting minutes;
- Createworkorderassignmentsasneededthroughtheassetmanagement system;
- Map creation and manipulation within Arc Map GIS;
- Coordinate with Community Outreachtokeeptheminformedofongoingand upcoming work;
- Provide QA/QC for assessment videos and data;
- Review and approve Contractors pay applications;
- Maintainuptodateprojectdocuments(RFI’s,finaldeliverablesandschedules) on project drives;
- Review and respond to Contractor RFI’s;
- Provide monthly progress reports and data metrics reporting;
- Utilization of Pipe Assessment Certification Program (PACP) certification to review and manage data received;
- Provide additional program support as needed.
- Minimum 5 years of progressive work experience in sewer collection systems planning, assessment and design.
- BS or MS in Civil/Environmental Engineering or related field is required.
- Ability to express ideas clearly and concisely with written and verbal communication.
- Team player, a professional who is eager to collaborate and communicate with project team members.
Must have ability to interface with other disciplines and employees. - Possessorabilitytoobtain
PACPcertificationwithinfirst3monthsof employment. - Abilitytocoordinateandinterfacewithotherphasesofaproject,clients and regulatory agencies as required.
- Proficiency in GIS based software is required.
- Basic CAD software skills are preferred.
- Proficient with MS Office Suite.
- Abilitytoperformdutieswithonlygeneralsupervisionwithacapacitytoexercise independent judgment and initiative for project related tasks.
- Valid driver's license.
