Continuous Improvement – Production (or Production Engineer)
$117-130k
Atlanta, GA
This role will focus on driving production operational excellence in a chemical manufacturing environment. This role will be a pathway to Production Engineer or Plant Manager promotion. Must show efficiency through the implementation of lean and six sigma methodologies, strategic planning, root cause analysis, and optimizing operational systems.
Responsibilities- Lead Total Process Improvement programs for production efficiency and process mapping for operational efficiency.
- Act as project manager in implementing lean and six sigma practices, including advanced concepts like kaizen and value stream mapping.
- Perform comprehensive reviews of departmental productivity and operational performance, identifying root causes of inefficiencies and providing actionable recommendations.
- Support supply chain and quality improvement efforts to ensure operational excellence.
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or related field required.
- Lean and/or Six Sigma certifications required.
- Proven experience in lean methodologies, operational excellence, cost reduction, and quality improvement.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to conduct in-depth data analysis and workflow evaluations.
- Knowledge of advanced lean concepts, such as kaizen, value stream mapping, Total Process Improvements, Root Cause Analysis.
