Job Description

A Client of Insight Global is seeking a Senior Test Engineer with a strong background in warehouse systems tester) to join a dynamic team responsible for testing and validating complex integrated systems. This role involves hands‑on testing of equipment such as ASRS, lifts, and conveyors, ensuring seamless integration across systems and subsystems.

You will be part of a larger team of 10-15 but will have 2-3 dedicated peers per testing team conducting multi-phase testing, including functional, capacity, and acceptance testing, across various warehouse sites. Your expertise in warehouse equipment testing will be critical in ensuring system readiness before client validation. And any knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is beneficial.

First Shift - 5 am - 3:30 pm

Second Shift - 2:30 pm - 1 am

• 10+ years of total experience, with 4–6 years in warehouse automation and testing.
• Strong hands‑on experience with testing: (if they do commissioning dig in about the testing background as well)
• ASRS (Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems)
• Lifts and conveyors
• Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) knowledge
• Proven ability to test and validate integrated warehouse systems.
• Experience working onsite in fast‑paced, hands‑on environments.
• Familiarity with warehousing equipment and layouts.
• Self‑starter with the ability to work independently.
• Experience managing or mentoring a small team (2–3 people).
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
