About the RoleWe are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Fire Sprinkler Designer to join our team. You will be responsible for the full design process, from initial site surveys and hydraulic calculations to the final shop drawings. We are looking for a professional who takes pride in precision and safety.
Key Responsibilities- Design fire sprinkler systems using AutoCAD and/or Hydra
CAD/AutoSPRINK. - Perform hydraulic calculations to ensure system compliance with NFPA standards.
- Conduct field surveys and coordinate with architects, engineers, and general contractors.
- Prepare submittal packages for AHJ (Authority Having Jurisdiction) approval.
- Ensure all designs meet local building codes and insurance requirements.
- Minimum of 4 years in fire sprinkler system design.
- NICET Level II or higher in Water-Based Systems Layout is strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD; experience with AutoSPRINK or Hydra
CAD is a plus. - Deep understanding of NFPA 13, 13R, 14, and 20.
- Ability to work effectively with field crews and project managers.
