Role OverviewJoin a forward-thinking cleantech startup that’s revolutionizing energy storage systems with cutting-edge technology. As Senior Mechanical Engineer, you’ll take the lead in designing complex electro-mechanical energy storage products from a blank slate through to manufacture. You’ll work in a collaborative, supportive environment where your ideas are valued, and your professional growth is prioritized.
What You’ll Do- Create 3D CAD models, assembly drawings, and bill of materials
- Lead design-for-manufacturing (DFM) reviews, ensuring efficiency and sustainability
- Support failure analyses and FMEA development with a solution-oriented mindset
- Build strong partnerships with OEMs, vendors, manufacturers, and key suppliers
- 8+ years of mechanical design experience in energy storage or power products
- DFM experience for injection molding and sheet metal parts
- Strong understanding of applying first principles / engineering methodology to ambiguous requirements
- Experience of FEA for structural parts
- Hands-on experience with prototyping tools (3D printers, CNC machines, etc.)
- Proficiency with Solid Works or similar CAD software
