Overview
The Project Manager – Water/Wastewater role at Black & Veatch is a high‑profile leadership position within the Water & Wastewater business. The candidate will lead major water infrastructure projects, manage cross‑functional teams, develop business opportunities, and drive project outcomes from conception through completion.
Key Responsibilities- Lead business development activities: marketing, strategy, prospect identification, proposal development, and client presentations.
- Provide project management oversight, including budgeting, invoicing, payments, and performance reviews.
- Supervise engineering managers and coordinate project execution with internal teams and owner representatives.
- Mentor and coach staff, identify talent needs, and support professional development.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- 10+ years of civil engineering design experience in water and wastewater treatment, master planning, and water main systems.
- Experience on BIM‑developed projects and advanced design principles.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Ability to complete pre‑employment onboarding requirements.
