Kimley‑Horn is looking for a motivated Senior Project Manager to expand our Water/Wastewater and Utilities practice in Chamblee, GA.

Location: Chamblee, GA

Salary Range: $130,000 – $140,000

Employment Type: Full‑time

Job Function: Project Management and Information Technology

• Manage, lead, and expand practice teams for multi‑discipline projects and programs in water/wastewater treatment, pumping systems, and large‑diameter conveyance (water distribution and wastewater collection).
• Develop an entrepreneurial vision for growth in the local water resource practice and beyond.
• Lead with a high degree of autonomy to direct, grow, and profitably manage the business.
• Leadership responsibilities include:
  • Operating with integrity and sound business principles.
  • Providing vision, business planning, and strategy.
  • Establishing goals.
  • Building and maintaining positive client relationships.
  • Maintaining open communication with partners and team.
  • Growing and leading a Water/Wastewater and Utilities practice.
• Our Project Managers/Practice Builders manage their projects profitably, transition work to qualified staff, grow and mentor staff, and act as a positive leader and mentor.

• 12+ years of civil engineering, design, and management experience on utility water projects.
• Registered Professional Engineer (P.E.) license.
• Established client contacts and relationships with local municipalities, counties, water management authorities, and regional/state agencies.
• Business development skills and a proven ability to win work.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and technical skills.
• Strong desire and ability to engage with clients in solving project problems.
• Ability to communicate positively at all organizational levels.
• Ability to manage and mentor staff and direct resources effectively.
• Demonstrated ability to manage projects profitably.
