WSP has an opening for a Senior Technical Manager, Environmental Engineering at our Chamblee, Georgia office. This role will play a key part in our Site Assessment and Remediation Team within the Earth & Environment Business, contributing expertise and leadership to a variety of environmental projects.

• Lead on a diverse range of environmental projects, overseeing site investigations, remediation, and development of risk management strategies.
• Provide technical leadership with hands-on project management and client engagement to align projects with regulatory standards and client goals.
• Manage multiple projects, ensuring deliverables, schedules, and budgets are achieved.
• Prepare detailed technical reports, interpret complex environmental data, and develop corrective action plans.
• Mentor and supervise junior engineers and scientists across all project phases.
• Collaborate with leadership to drive project and business objectives, and expand services within Industrial and Commercial sectors.
• Travel to project sites as required to support execution and business development.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Chemical, Environmental or related engineering discipline
• Essential professional licensure/certification (GA P.E. or ability to obtain license)
• Experience with CERCLA, RCRA, DTSC, Water Board and other EPD/EPA Programs
• Minimum of 10 years of environmental project experience, including task management, proposal writing, client contact, and regulatory interaction
• Experience with site investigations and remediation of environmental impacts to soil and groundwater
• Ability to work independently and provide guidance to junior team members with QA/QC adherence
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with experience writing technical reports and proposals
• Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and adherence to WSP safety policies

• Master's degrees in Environmental, Civil or related engineering discipline
