SUMMARY

Russell is currently seeking a Senior
Scheduler to support the successful planning and execution of construction and program management projects. The Scheduler will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and analyzing project schedules, working closely with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time. The ideal candidate will have experience in using scheduling software such as Primavera P6 and will be able to communicate project status, identify potential delays, and recommend corrective actions as necessary.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6 or other scheduling software.
  • Collaborate with project managers and teams to create accurate project timelines and ensure all schedule-related information is up to date.
  • Monitor project progress, identify schedule delays, and propose recovery plans to mitigate risks.
  • Perform critical path and schedule variance analysis to ensure timely project completion.
  • Prepare regular schedule reports and updates for project stakeholders, including management and clients.
  • Assist in integrating multiple project schedules into a master schedule for portfolio or program-level planning.
  • Track and manage schedule changes, ensuring proper documentation and approval for modifications.
  • Work closely with contractors and subcontractors to ensure schedule accuracy and coordination across all project phases.
  • Ensure that schedules comply with contractual requirements and industry best practices.
  • Provide input into time‑phased budgeting and resource allocation as it relates to project schedules.
  • Support project meetings by presenting schedule updates and discussing any issues or potential impacts on project delivery.
  • Assist with the preparation of schedule‑related documentation to support claims or disputes, if necessary.
  • Perform work in a safe manner and actively encourage others to do the same.
QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in project scheduling, preferably in the construction or engineering industry.
  • Proficiency in Primavera P6 or similar scheduling software is required.
  • Strong knowledge of critical path method (CPM) scheduling and project controls.
  • Experience in schedule analysis and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex scheduling data to a variety of stakeholders.
  • Experience working with project management teams to develop and maintain schedules.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Experience with earned value management (EVM) is a plus.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
