JLL is seeking a Senior Reliability Engineer to join our team!

This exciting opportunity is responsible for providing reliability engineering support for operations and maintenance of buildings, infrastructure, and equipment assets.  In coordination and full collaboration with the Engineering Services Reliability & Asset Management COE, the Senior Reliability Engineer is responsible for implementing a strategic asset management plan to integrate clients existing systems including National Operations Center (NOC), energy management programs, maintenance programs and life-cycle asset management approach.  

Develops analysis methods to determine reliability of components, equipment, and processes in accordance with JLL’s enhanced Reliability & Asset Management program.  Acquires and analyzes data from NOC and continually improves maintenance program strategy to meet outcomes-based performance measures.  Conducts ongoing maintenance maturity assessments to assure progress to plan.  Oversees root cause failure analysis (RCFA) of equipment failures to determine the required corrective action for the situation.  

Consideration will be given to the cost limitations for equipment uptime/downtime, repair/replacement costs and weight, size, and availability of materials/equipment.  Determines cost advantages of alternatives and develops action plans that comply with internal/external customer demands for reliability processes/equipment to avoid failures.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

*** Recognizes that assignments are broad in nature and require appreciable originality and ingenuity to complete them and considerable latitude for un-reviewed actions or decisions.
** Asset Management
*** Works under general direction of Engineering Services Reliability & Asset Management platform for instruction in deploying client’s strategic asset management roadmap with matrix reporting back to the clients lead engineer (FM).  Integrates data from BAS, automated fault detection diagnostic engines, maintenance programs, and capital planning processes to develop life-cycle analyses and recommendations for repair vs. replacement decisions.
* Support all efforts in the execution of site level Asset Management & Reliability programs and processes to effectively increase machine/facility system reliability and compliance.
* Conducts program and system/equipment audits on a periodic and as needed basis. Audits will generally be focused on safety, regulatory compliance, maintenance effectiveness, cost savings, and energy conservation.
* Supports JLL operational compliance program and follows company safety and health guidelines and other company policies.
* Coordinates the use of other engineers, technicians, and third-party resources to accomplish the objective of cost-effective Asset Management & Reliability improvements for maintenance and projects.
** Reliability Engineering
*** Equipment preventative maintenance (PM) task creation and management for continuous improvement and PM optimization.
* Responsible for ranking the criticality of the assets under their care, typically using Reliability Centered Maintenance approaches, and for defining the proactive maintenance approaches that are cost-beneficial to the business.
