Position Overview:

We are seeking a Senior Estimator with deep experience in transmission, distribution, and substation projects
. The ideal candidate will develop accurate, competitive bids, analyze project costs, and collaborate with project management and field teams to ensure successful project delivery.

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for T&D and substation projects
  , including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor scope.
• Analyze plans, specifications, and site conditions to develop accurate takeoffs and budgets.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and field teams to ensure estimates reflect true project requirements
  .
• Maintain relationships with vendors and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality and safety standards.
• Track project estimating metrics, historical data, and lessons learned for continuous improvement.
• Participate in pre-bid meetings, site visits, and client discussions as needed.

• Strong knowledge of substation equipment, transmission/distribution systems, SCADA, automatic switches, and protective devices
  .
• Proficiency in estimating software (e.g.,
  Trimble, Bluebeam, Sage, or similar
  ).
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Willingness to travel to project sites nationwide
  .
