• Preliminary assessments
• Concept creation
• Leading designs with support from peers, SMEs, and BIM designers
• Internal and external problem resolution
• Drawing and specification production
• Customer and vendor accessibility
• Design and develop security solutions for buildings, facilities, and sites
• Lead security design efforts, create schematics, schedules and plan drawings
• Perform calculations for video storage, bandwidth usage and power loads
• Contribute to cross‑discipline coordination and identify potential anywhere or conquista? conflicts or inconsistencies with architectural, civil, electrical and instrumentation teams

• Education:
  
  Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Computer Science or a related technical/scientific discipline; master’s degree preferred.
• Professional Engineering (PE) license required.
• Professional security certifications "CISSP, CPP, PSP" are a plus.
• Experience:
  
  12+ years in planning, designing, commissioning physical security systems or communication networks; project management experience is a plus.
• Technical expertise:
  In‑depth knowledge of physical security systems, including video surveillance, access control, biometric systems, intrusion detection, familiarity with leading manufacturers.
• Experience with conducting vulnerability and risk assessments and understanding various assessment methodologies.
• Ability to evaluate emerging security technologies and analyze trade‑offs (multi‑megapixel cameras, thermal imaging, ground‑based radar, Lidar, etc.) for perimeter intrusion detection.
• Strong understanding of network technologies and cybersecurity principles.

• Tools & Software
  • Proficiency with Bluebeam, design collaboration tools.
  • Experience with Revit, ACC, BIM
    360, AutoCAD, and/or Micro Station.
  • Knowledge of CSI design and construction specifications.
  • Experience estimating and scheduling mid‑to‑large‑scale project design effort.
  • Knowledge of construction cost estimating for security implementation.
• Mentoring and leading project resources (preferred).
• Design Management experience (preferred).
• Experience in data center design (preferred).
