Base pay range$/yr - $/yr
Responsibilities- Preliminary assessments
- Concept creation
- Leading designs with support from peers, SMEs, and BIM designers
- Internal and external problem resolution
- Drawing and specification production
- Customer and vendor accessibility
- Design and develop security solutions for buildings, facilities, and sites
- Lead security design efforts, create schematics, schedules and plan drawings
- Perform calculations for video storage, bandwidth usage and power loads
- Contribute to cross‑discipline coordination and identify potential anywhere or conquista? conflicts or inconsistencies with architectural, civil, electrical and instrumentation teams
- Education:
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Computer Science or a related technical/scientific discipline; master’s degree preferred. - Professional Engineering (PE) license required.
- Professional security certifications "CISSP, CPP, PSP" are a plus.
- Experience:
12+ years in planning, designing, commissioning physical security systems or communication networks; project management experience is a plus. - Technical expertise:
In‑depth knowledge of physical security systems, including video surveillance, access control, biometric systems, intrusion detection, familiarity with leading manufacturers. - Experience with conducting vulnerability and risk assessments and understanding various assessment methodologies.
- Ability to evaluate emerging security technologies and analyze trade‑offs (multi‑megapixel cameras, thermal imaging, ground‑based radar, Lidar, etc.) for perimeter intrusion detection.
- Strong understanding of network technologies and cybersecurity principles.
- Exceptional problem‑solving.
MSG? abilities. - Ability to work collaboratively in a team and provide/receive constructive feedback.
- Tools & Software
- Proficiency with Bluebeam, design collaboration tools.
- Experience with Revit, ACC, BIM
360, AutoCAD, and/or Micro Station. - Knowledge of CSI design and construction specifications.
- Experience estimating and scheduling mid‑to‑large‑scale project design effort.
- Knowledge of construction cost estimating for security implementation.
- Mentoring and leading project resources (preferred).
- Design Management experience (preferred).
- Experience in data center design (preferred).
