Entry Level Instrumentation & Controls (I&C) Engineer – Summer 2026 (Data Centers)

Base pay range: $75,000 – $95,000 per year.

As an Entry‑Level Instrumentation & Controls Engineer, you will design and optimize control systems for data center facilities. You will develop P&IDs, size valves, specify instrumentation, and produce control system designs while ensuring compliance with building codes and industry standards. You will work with architects, engineers, and designers to deliver world‑class solutions for new facilities.

• Develop P&IDs, valve sizing, instrumentation specifications, and design documentation.
• Design and model control system information for data center processes.
• Provide on‑site assistance during startup and coordinate work activities with other disciplines.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders across geographies.

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Control Systems, or Electrical Engineering.
• Previous internship experience in instrumentation & controls.
• EIT or ability to obtain prior to hire.
• Working knowledge of Revit software preferred.
• Prior experience with DDC and PLC‑based control systems.
• Experience with data center design or operations.
