Senior Life Safety Systems Drafter / BIM Designer (Electronics)

Pay Range: $80,600.00 – $ per year. Salary based on skills and experience. Position is full‑time and hybrid, with locations in Austin, TX;
Tempe, AZ;
Portland, OR;
Moon Township, PA; and Albany, NY. Highly qualified U.S. candidates are welcome.

Drive life safety and security system design for advanced facilities including semiconductor plants, state‑of‑the‑art manufacturing, and research facilities. Leverage AutoCAD and Revit MEP to create and coordinate 3D BIM models that meet client requirements and industry standards.

• Perform computer‑aided drafting and design for life safety and security systems.
• Utilize AutoCAD and Revit MEP to create and coordinate 3D BIM models with architects and engineers.
• Develop layouts for Fire Alarm Detection Systems, HPM leak detection, Toxic Gas Management Systems, and Security/Intrusion Detection Systems.
• Ensure designs meet industry standards and client requirements, delivering accurate, constructible solutions.

• At least 10 years of AutoCAD experience.
• Proven experience in drafting and BIM design, preferably in life safety systems.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to collaborate across disciplines.

• 3–5 years of Revit design experience.
• Knowledge of IFC, IBC, NFPA 70, NFPA 101 Life Safety Code, and NFPA 72 Fire Alarm and Signaling Code.
• Knowledge of fire/life safety systems and manufacturer equipment.
• Industrial design experience.
• Autodesk Certified Professional (ACP) or other drafting technology certification.
