Network Engineer

• 3-5 years experience installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Cisco routers and switches
• Experience with single mode fiber, Cat 6, and other cabling
• Experience troubleshooting and supporting firewalls
• Nice to have:
  Service Now ticketing experience

• Typically requires 5-7 years’ relevant experience

• Minimum:
  Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
• Working knowledge of BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, PPP, HDLC, Spanning‑Tree, Multicast, TCP/IPv4, TCP/IPv6
• Working knowledge of NetBIOS, DHCP, DNS, HSRP, GLBP, SNMP, LAN/MAN/WAN technologies (T1, Fast Ethernet, GigE, 10
  
  Gb, 40
  
  Gb, Fiber Optics, T3, CSU/DSU, MPLS, SONET, ATM, ISDN)
• Working knowledge of Cisco routers, Cisco switches, Cisco firewall (ASA, FWSM), F5 load balancers, proxy servers, network sniffers, Radius, TACACS+, QoS, VPN, wireless, Cisco Prime
• Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access, Visio)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Active CCNA certification required
• Local to Atlanta and open to working fully onsite
• Open to weekend on‑call and onsite (typically once every other month)
