We are seeking a Civil/Structural Engineer for our Atlanta/Georgia District with experience in design and/or construction of residential and/or commercial buildings. The role involves determining cause, origin, and extent of construction defects, structural failures, water intrusions, and other failures. Understanding installation standards, practices and procedures within the building construction industry is essential.

• Investigate and analyze residential, commercial, and industrial properties to resolve claims and legal matters.
• Handle contract disputes, installation deficiencies, material deficiencies, site evaluations, settlement investigations, structural assessments, and vibration analyses.
• Gather photographic evidence and conduct on‑site investigations; oversee field‑testing and review historical documentation.
• Prepare oral and written reports documenting causes of failure, extent of loss, repair scope, and recommended remediation; provide expert testimony in litigation.

• Initiate, develop and maintain mutually beneficial client relationships.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering.
• 5‑7 years minimum experience.
• PE License required.
• NCEES record preferred.
• Experience handling litigation/investigation required.
• Knowledge of fundamental architectural and/or engineering principles, construction and building component assemblies.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills with clients and stakeholders.

• Travel as needed.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and inspect confined spaces.
• Inspect building roof structures and crawlspaces.
