- Lead project teams in structural engineering tasks such as calculations (hand and software‑based), analyses, and report preparation.
- Develop drawings and specifications in coordination with other disciplines from concept to construction documents.
- Mentor junior staff in person and remotely across our five offices.
- Support business development by contributing to proposals, estimating, and client interviews.
- Assist with construction administration, including RFI responses, submittal reviews, and site visits.
- 10+ years of progressively responsible design experience with an emphasis on steel and concrete new and existing structures. Experience with CMU, cold‑formed steel, and wood is also beneficial.
- Strong understanding of International Building Code, Whole Building Design Guide, ASCE 7 requirements for environmental loading, and other material‑specific design references.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil Engineering (Structural concentration) or Architectural Engineering from an ABET‑accredited institution.
- Registered Professional Engineer (PE) at the job location or ability to obtain reciprocity within 3 months.
- Proficiency with design tools:
Revit, AutoCAD, RAM Structural Systems, RISA, RAM Concept, ETABS, Mathcad, and other material‑specific software. - Eligible to work in the United States and able to obtain a security clearance.
- Federal and industrial project experience with familiarity in both Design‑Build and Design‑Bid‑Build procurement structures.
- Experience in blast design.
- Advanced degree in Structural or Architectural Engineering.
