The eQN Project Engineering role requires strong organizational skills coupled with a high degree of professionalism to join Cyient’s QN value stream. You will interface with suppliers, engineering community, and material review engineers on both sides of the aisle, Cyient & Pratt & Whitney (P&W).
Key Responsibilities- Review, maintain, and update RNA/PPX and other tracking tools associated with nonconforming (NC) materials and parts to monitor quality activities, including aging and RMA inventory.
- Coordinate QN tasking with appropriate Module Center Points of Contact (POCs).
- Track process turnbacks and initiate process controls and continuous improvement actions.
- Create, execute, split, and close inspection lots in accordance with established procedures.
- Review and validate supplier inputs related to QN activities.
- Provide daily project status updates to the team and supervisor.
- Prepare and deliver weekly status reports to the customer.
- Proactively identify gaps, risks, and potential delays within the eQN process, and drive corrective solutions to resolution.
- Experience with SAP, Documentum, and QN Hub preferred.
- Proven ability to perform effectively in a fast‑paced environment with a focus on rapid turnaround.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Excellent client‑facing and internal communication skills.
- Demonstrated customer‑focused mindset with strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Consistent track record of delivering high‑quality results that meet or exceed customer expectations.
Bachelor of Science (BS) or Associate of Science (AS) degree in Engineering with a minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience; or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience in manufacturing, quality, or engineering.
