Senior Electrical Engineer – Substation Protection & Control
JCW Group is partnering with a leading energy company delivering advanced utility projects. We’re seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead substation protection & control design and manage projects from concept through completion.
What You’ll Do- Lead protection & control design for substations and transmission lines up to 500kV
- Perform coordination, fault current, voltage drop, and insulation studies
- Develop schematics, panel layouts, relay settings, and SCADA integration
- Mentor junior engineers and oversee project deliverables
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams
- B.S. in Electrical Engineering (PE license or ability to obtain within 1 year)
- 5–7+ years’ experience in substation P&C and utility systems
- Strong leadership, problem‑solving, and communication skills
- Utility industry experience highly desired
