Wright Structural Engineers currently has an immediate opening for a Structural Design Engineer - project manager. This is a unique opportunity to get in at the ground level of this new location of Wright Structural Engineers with plenty of opportunity for upward movement. Responsibilities:

• Prepare structural calculations and drawings for projects of all material types and sizes
• Work closely and build relationships with architects, contractors, clients, and other engineers
• Manage your own projects and work as part of a team on other projects
• Be mentored by more experienced engineers and mentor younger engineers as the company grows

Position requirements:

• BS or MS degree in civil engineering with structural emphasis from an ABET accredited program
• 4+ years of structural engineering experience on relevant building projects
• Proficiency in common structural engineering and office tools including RISA, RAM, Enercalc, Excel, Bluebeam
• Structural Design experience in Industrial, Office, Multifamily, and Retail buildings.
• Currently licensed as a PE or SE is preferred but not required
