Kelly Engineering is seeking a Pipe Stress Engineer to join one of our leading clients in the Engineering Services industry supporting power generation facilities.

Ideal Candidate- Bachelor of Science in Engineering discipline
- Experience running Pipe Stress Analysis using AutoPIPE Software
- Understanding of ASME, API and ANSI Codes
- Experience with analyzing high temperature and pressure piping systems in the Power Industry
Location: Just north of Atlanta, near Marietta/Kennesaw.
Responsibilities- Conduct pipe stress analysis of piping systems (both static and dynamic) using AutoPIPE Software
- Conduct pipe stress analysis for piping systems involving steam turbines, pumps, heat exchangers, and tanks
- Develop engineering computations and evaluations for critical piping systems for sustained, thermal, and occasional loads
- Perform evaluation of local stresses on equipment nozzles per WRC
107/297 - Evaluate and specify pipe supports for all critical piping
- Provide pipe loading information to Civil/Structural for steel design
- Extract engineering data from CAD drawings and computer models
- Develop detailed requisitions for pipe stress equipment and materials
- Prepare pipe stress reports
- Perform detailed reviews and checks of stress analysis designs from other stress engineers
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering
- Experience running Pipe Stress Analysis using AutoPIPE Software
- Understanding of ASME, API and ANSI Codes
- Experience with analyzing high temperature and pressure piping systems in the Power Industry
- PE License preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
