Job Summary

This part-time instructor will be required to teach classes to Upward Bound participants, who are teens from several local area target high schools. The instructor will be expected to possess outstanding teaching skills for a diverse population of participants and maintain classroom etiquette conducive to learning. Also, the instructor will be required to maintain grades for each participant.

Responsibilities

We are seeking a dynamic and student centered Summer Math Instructor to provide rigorous and engaging mathematics instruction to high school participants. The instructor will teach courses aligned with the Fulton County School curriculum, including Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry, Decision Making/Statistics, Pre-Calculus/Trigonometry, and/or Calculus.

Required Qualifications

A Bachelors degree in related subject area is required.

Preferred Qualifications

The applicant must have the ability to work with diverse and underserved students. Preference will be given to candidates who have similar backgrounds as program participants.

Proposed Salary

$2500 For the full session.
