Overview

Private preschool is currently hiring for a GA Lottery Prek-4 Lead Teacher. The successful candidate will be innovative, creative, and passionate about early education. The Lead Teacher will play a vital role in the success of our 4-year-old students. In preparation for kindergarten, they will implement a program focusing on children's social/emotional, cognitive, and physical development. The successful candidate will create a calm, safe, and warm environment for children.

The teacher must engage in positive interactions and communicate effectively with students, team members, and administration.

• Use Georgia Early Learning Development Standards to create lesson plans
• Utilize Creative Curriculum
• Engage in age-appropriate activities
• Manage cleanliness of classroom and environment
• Maintain health and safety of students
• Promote children's executive function skills
• Adhere to all Bright from the Start and Quality Rated rules
• Use positive discipline and reinforcement to manage behavior
• Communicate effectively with children, team members, and administration
• Encourage and aid in the development of children's self-help skills
• Participate in professional development
• Maintain a professional demeanor and decorum

A Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, or an Unrelated Field along with a CDA or TCC.
