Responsibilities- Internalize and execute grade-level lesson plans for all contents with fidelity and in alignment with Resurgence Hall Instructional Frameworks.
- Co‑deliver high‑quality whole group instruction and provide acceleration and support interventions for scholars—including those with IEPs, 504 plans, EIP, REP, TAG, and ESOL services—in collaboration with co‑teachers and service providers.
- Create reteach (whole and small group) plans as needed based on exit tickets, unit assessments, projects, and additional scholar data.
- Build a classroom culture of joy and urgency with high expectations for all scholars through implementation of behavior management systems, incentives, logical consequences, and logging into Deans List.
- Build deep relationships with scholars, families, and staff to foster a culture of joy and community.
- Continuously develop content and instructional expertise by engaging in weekly professional development and 1‑1 coaching with instructional coaches.
- Maintain up‑to‑date, accurate, and detailed records in all school‑wide platforms such as Power School, Illuminate, Deans List, and GO‑IEP in partnership with assigned service providers.
- Administer formative and summative assessments, including NWEA MAP, STEP, quizzes, and interim assessments.
- Administer all state‑ and district‑mandated assessments, including WIDA Scre Installation, WIDA ACCESS, Georgia Milestones, Literacy Universal Screener, Dyslexia Screener, as applicable.
- Maintain accurate documentation on scholar progress through scholar portfolios, progress reports, assessment files, and report cards.
- Collaborate with case managers and program leads to implement classroom accommodations and modifications as outlined in IEPs, 504 plans, and other programs.
- Provide coverage support when required to ensure scholar learning and safety continue uninterrupted.
- Communicate daily with families regarding scholar academic and social/emotional progress via school‑based apps, phone, and email.
- Lead and support school‑wide, grade‑level, and content team initiatives such as Parent University Nights, Spread the Love Week, Black History Month, 100th Day of School, and Awards Ceremony.
- Support school‑wide initiatives such as weekend recruitment events, evening parent workshops, and other events with advanced notice Alm outside of the regular work week and hours.
- Perform other duties as deemed appropriate by the Director of Culture & Instruction.
Master’s degree a plus.
Compensation – Competitive salaries ranging from $ to $180,000.Cinema, plus a comprehensive benefits package, professional development, and required technology stipend. This is a year‑round position.
