Georgia Highlands College is a multi-campus, state college member of the University System of Georgia. Founded in 1970 as Floyd Junior College, it serves more than 6,000 students in Northwest Georgia and Northeast Alabama across its five locations in Rome, Cartersville, Marietta, Dallas, and Douglasville. The position is an "As Needed" Part-time Instructor role in Psychology at multiple instructional sites (GHC Floyd Campus, Cartersville Instructional Site, Marietta Instructional Site, Paulding Instructional Site).

Part-time instructor for a multi-site college in the University System of Georgia. Reporting to the Division Chair for the School of Social Sciences and Education, the part-time instructor is responsible for preparing for and delivering instruction in Psychology.

• Manage courses through systematic use of syllabi
• Keep accurate records of students’ class performance, attendance, and grades
• Adopt and implement common course objectives
• Attend part-time faculty orientation prior to the beginning of the semester
• Participate in assessment of student learning outcomes

• Master’s degree in subject or Master’s degree with 18 hours of graduate-level courses in Psychology
• Must be available to teach day, evening, or weekend at any of the Georgia Highlands College instructional sites

Salary determined by instructor part-time pay scale.
