Georgia Highlands College is a multi-campus, state college member of the University System of Georgia. The position is an "As Needed" Part-time Instructor role in Psychology at multiple instructional sites (GHC Floyd Campus, Cartersville Instructional Site, Marietta Instructional Site, Paulding Instructional Site).

Job Summary

Part-time instructor for a multi-site college in the University System of Georgia. Reporting to the Division Chair for the School of Social Sciences and Education, the part-time instructor is responsible for preparing for and delivering instruction in Psychology.

Responsibilities
  • Manage courses through systematic use of syllabi
  • Keep accurate records of students’ class performance, attendance, and grades
  • Adopt and implement common course objectives
  • Attend part-time faculty orientation prior to the beginning of the semester
  • Participate in assessment of student learning outcomes
Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in subject or Master’s degree with 18 hours of graduate-level courses in Psychology
  • Must be available to teach day, evening, or weekend at any of the Georgia Highlands College instructional sites
Salary

Salary determined by instructor part-time pay scale.
