Summary

Responsibilities- Arrive to work, meetings, and trainings promptly. Display professionalism in punctuality, mannerisms, and attire.
- Develop, present, and evaluate appropriate lesson plans. Supervise all classroom and daily routine activities.
- Assist co-teacher in all daily preparation work and clean up of rooms. Complete site lesson plan prep work on a rotating basis.
- Attend and contribute to monthly lesson plan meetings. Submit supply requests and work orders to Site Leader in a timely fashion.
- Establish and maintain a positive working relationship with parents and other staff members. Establish a nurturing relationship with the children and serve as a positive role model.
- Treat children in a positive manner that encourages individuality and positive self-esteem.
- Responsible for completing designated preschool housekeeping duties and maintaining bulletin boards according to schedule.
- Acquire a minimum of 10 hours of training outside of teaching preschool within 90 days.
- Keep class attendance, emergency, medical and registration forms on file for each child. Thoroughly complete incident reports.

- High School Diploma or GED is required
- Current first aid and CPR
- Must have a current CDA or TCC
- Experience working in a child care settings
- Strong organization skills, interpersonal skills, and communication skills (written and oral)
- Knowledge of Bright From the Start regulations & Quality Rated system
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screening
- Consistently standing for 2 hours or more of teaching
- Bending, frequent use of hands, stooping and moderate lifting (at least 25 pounds) required
- Noise level in the work environment may be high at times
- Valid driver s license and personal transportation required
- Available to work occasional nights and weekends
- Team player; self-directed with the ability to work independently
- Great attitude
