We are seeking a passionate, enthusiastic, and creative Bilingual Half-Day Preschool Enrichment Teacher to join our team for the school year (to begin in August 2026). This role is perfect for individuals who love working with young children and want to foster a positive, supportive, and enriching environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, and growth. The ideal candidate will be fluent in both English and another language, and will be able to engage children in both languages through fun and educational activities.
Responsibilities
- Implement a dynamic curriculum that supports early childhood development, through the Arts (visual and performing) as well as science and nature.
- Instruct children ages 1-6 years old in music, movement, STEAM, Maker, Global connections through literacy, nature education
- Utilize and innovate experiences in our outdoor classroom to enhance the learning of all children
- Create an engaging classroom environment that promotes exploration, creativity, and play-based learning.
- Lead bilingual lessons, ensuring children are exposed to both languages in a natural and immersive setting.
- Foster a warm, caring, and inclusive atmosphere for all students, promoting positive social interactions.
- Monitor and assess individual student progress, providing feedback to parents and staff.
- Maintain open communication with the admin regarding student progress and any concerns.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers to create a cohesive, supportive learning community.
- Ensure classroom safety and follow all health and safety guidelines.
Qualifications
- Fluency in both English and another language (spoken and written).
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field preferred, but commensurate experience will be considered.
- Previous experience teaching or working with preschool-aged children.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and independently.
- Passion for early childhood education and fostering a love of learning in young children.
