Student Development Specialist (Temp)

Join the vibrant community in the heart of Atlanta. The Mathematics Department invites applications for a Student Development Specialist to support Perimeter College campuses.
What Will You Do- Assist students and faculty in the effective use of classroom/laboratory resources in Corequisite courses for Introductory Mathematics Classes.
- Conduct workshops, track student progress, provide academic tutorial services, study sessions, and supplemental instruction for students.
- Occasional travel to satellite campuses (Clarkston, Decatur, and Dunwoody).
- Maintain competence in basics of mathematics (GPA 3.0 in mathematics courses) and have successfully completed college mathematics classes including college algebra, elementary statistics, and Pre‑calculus.
- Use good communication skills, computer literacy, and willingness to work with others and complete on‑the‑job training.
- Bachelor’s degree and two years of related experience; or high school/GED and six years of related experience; or a combination of education and experience.
