About Campus

Campus is on a mission to accelerate the talent of tomorrow and reimagine what college can (and should) be. The problem is clear: college costs have skyrocketed, but outcomes haven’t. Traditional college hasn’t kept up with the aspirations of today’s students—and they can’t afford to wait.

At Campus, we’ve built a two-year, accredited college where students learn from top professors at universities like Princeton, Stanford, and Howard, in live, online classes. Our students graduate with in-demand business and AI skills—ready to launch their careers or transfer to top four-year universities. Our unique approach is grounded in a pioneering technology platform and a heavily-researched student success model that offers students dedicated advisors and on-demand tutoring and coaching.

We were also named one of Fast Company’s Most Innovative Companies of 2024.

We’re backed by an exceptional investor team that believes deeply in our vision for the future of education, including General Catalyst, Founders Fund, Bloomberg Beta, 8VC, Rethink Education, Sam Altman, Jason Citron, Shaquille O’Neal, and others.

The world has changed. Higher ed needs to catch up, and we’re leading the way - come join us!

About the team

On the Admissions team, our goal is to guide prospective students through a supportive, informative, and high‑integrity admissions experience that reflects our student‑first mission. This team is composed of dedicated Admissions Counselors, Team Leads, Trainers, and operational partners who work collaboratively to meet enrollment goals while upholding Campus’s values, culture, and standards of excellence.

About the role

We’re looking for an Admissions Team Lead II – someone who is first and foremost a strong people manager, with deep admissions or sales experience. This role supports a team of Admissions Counselors and, when needed, a Team Lead. You set the tone on the floor, provide stability, and help maintain a positive, high‑accountability culture. You’re someone who can coach, develop, and motivate a team while keeping performance and pacing on track.

The Team Lead II maintains high visibility on the admissions floor, provides real‑time feedback to leadership, and represents the department across office events, cross‑functional meetings, and visitor interactions.

You’re excited about this opportunity because you will…

  • Lead and develop a team of Admissions Counselors through clear coaching, support, and performance oversight.
  • Support or oversee a New Team Lead when needed, especially newer leads who may need extra guidance.
  • Build a positive, high‑accountability culture where counselors feel supported and clear on expectations.
  • Oversee counselor pipelines, ensuring accurate record‑keeping, workflow efficiency, and progress toward enrollment goals.
  • Conduct regular pipeline reviews, identify performance trends, and provide tailored coaching across communication, follow‑up, and conversion skills.
  • Maintain strong visibility on the floor — counselors trust you and come to you for guidance.
  • Flag workflow friction points, morale issues, or operational gaps early so leadership can act quickly.
  • Track and relay updates on cross‑functional initiatives that impact admissions.
  • Represent the admissions department during presentations, office events, trainings, and visitor interactions.
  • Support professional development through weekly 1:1s, collaboration with the Trainer, and contributions to onboarding and training curriculum.
  • Identify opportunities for additional training, improvement plans, or corrective action when needed.

We’re excited about you because…

  • You are a seasoned admissions professional with advanced recruitment and operational experience.
  • You bring strong emotional intelligence and can navigate complex interpersonal dynamics and office politics with maturity and discretion.
  • You excel at identifying patterns, anticipating challenges, and reporting actionable insights to leadership.
  • You communicate with clarity and confidence, especially in group settings and cross‑functional environments.
  • You are a culture‑builder who leads by example and inspires trust, growth, and collaboration.
