The Humanities Department at Perimeter College delivers a top-tier education and exceptional access to hands‑on experiences. The department is home to the disciplines of communication, humanities, journalism, philosophy, religious studies, and world languages, including American Sign Language. Our cadre of highly accomplished faculty not only prepares students for proficiency in their prospective fields, but also to be effective and engaged citizens who think critically.

Perimeter College is seeking part‑time instructors in Journalism who will play a key role in educating and supporting students.

Applicants must have a minimum of a Master's degree with 18 graduate semester hours (or 27 quarter hours) in Journalism.

• Teaching experience preferred in face‑to‑face and asynchronous online classrooms.

• Ability to teach Journalism at the collegiate level.
• Ability to teach effectively using a variety of methods.
• Ability to relate to students and facilitate student learning.
• Effective communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and teaching skills.
• Demonstrated knowledge of instructional technology.

Position may require non‑standard hours (including day, evening, online, hybrid, weekend and/or other campus locations).

$3,075 for each 3‑credit hour course taught.
