This position supports crucial components of our strategic partnerships with local partners and assists with developing professional competencies for education studies majors. The partnerships require student support for academic outreach in local public schools and community centers. Participants will also complete volunteer hours.

• Work 10 hours weekly to develop and implement K12 education outreach programming with community partners.
• Plan and execute education outreach such as reading to local children, support STEM outreach events at the John Hope Envision Center and Fernbank Science Center.
• Plan and organize outreach materials.
• Support and implement education outreach events.
• Collect and organize images and video from outreach events.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Strong organizational skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Proficiency in office software.

• Collaborate with Director of Teacher Education and Education Department Chair to ensure efficient office operations and contribute to the overall success of the Education Department.
