The Department of Fine Arts at Perimeter College, home to the disciplines of art, music, theatre, and film, delivers a top-tier education and exceptional access to hands‑on experiences. Graduates from our department have gone on to successful careers in the arts, in education, in law and in business.

Perimeter College is seeking instructors to teach film analysis and history courses in the spring semester of 2026, in particular at the Dunwoody and Newton campuses.

Applicants MUST have a minimum of a master’s degree with 18 graduate semester hours (or 27 graduate quarter hours) in film history, theory, and analysis.

Teaching experience preferred.

• Ability to teach Film History and Analysis at the collegiate level.
• Ability to teach effectively using a variety of methods, relate to students and facilitate student learning.
• Effective communication skills needed.
• Excellent organizational and teaching skills.
• Demonstrated knowledge of instructional technology is required.

A criminal background check is required.

Position may require non-standard hours (including day, evening, online, hybrid, weekend and/or other campus locations).

$3075.00 for each 3-semester credit hour course taught.
