Location:
Onsite.
- Prepare and lecture on specified content utilizing the school's textbook.
- Administer academic and skills assessments according to the syllabus.
- Lead hands‑on skills labs, including skill demonstration and student feedback.
- Maintain accurate student records and paperwork including attendance, notes on student progress and conduct in class, and recording and reporting of grades.
- Complete tasks required by the beginning of a class session including handling of student payments and accepting of student documentation.
- Practice within the rules and regulations of the school and the state in which the school is located with regard to policy.
- Follow the curriculum, as set by the Ohio School of Phlebotomy and approved by the state in which the school is located.

Support students with empathy and kindness while maintaining positive professional boundaries; adapt teaching style to aid students who learn differently; recognize strengths and weaknesses and advocate for them. - Decisive:
Adapt the syllabus as needed; take ownership of decisions. - Comprehensive:
Be punctual and prepared; understand the syllabus and policies; present class material confidently; manage class time to cover all material while adhering to state‑regulated time requirements. - Process Oriented:
Understand and follow specific procedures and processes. - Receptive:
Ask for help when needed; accept feedback openly and learn from it.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant field experience as a Medical Assistant or similar/more advanced practice (PCA, EMT, Physician's Assistant, LPN, etc).
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous teaching experience is not required.
