Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide cardiothoracic surgical coverage, including support for trauma cases
• Manage 24-hour out-of-house call responsibilities
• Deliver patient care coverage primarily on weekends, with flexibility for time off requests
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of surgical care
• Adhere to all medical protocols and standards required for cardiothoracic surgery

Qualifications

• Active Georgia medical license required
• Board certification in Cardiothoracic Surgery required
• Experience with CT surgery and trauma preferred
