GME Faculty – Family Medicine
Piedmont Columbus Regional Family Medicine Residency Program in Columbus, Georgia is recruiting a full‑time family physician faculty member to join its enriched residency program established in 1972. The program recently graduated its 50th class of family physicians and is a 36‑resident stand‑alone program that also sponsors the Sports Medicine fellowship at Auburn University.
Position Requirements- Family Medicine Board Certification (American Board of Family Medicine or American Osteopathic Board of Family Practice)
- Possess or obtain an unrestricted Georgia medical license
- Two years of clinical patient care experience preferred; younger promising faculty considered
- Provide comprehensive hospital care that includes newborns, children and adults
- 60% administrative/academic and 40% clinical time
- Mentor and supervise residents; small and large group teaching; teach medical students
- Epic EMR system‑wide
