Job Description & How to Apply Below
Ready to reimagine the DFS industry together?
As a Senior Content Designer at Prize Picks, you'll champion clarity, purpose, and fandom across our gaming experience as our platform scales. You'll play a critical role in strengthening our rapidly evolving product by shaping content design and direction for key user journeys and contributing content guidelines to Prize Picks' design system.
Success depends on deep cross-functional partnerships-from UX Research, Product, and Engineering-to ensuring alignment with Marketing, Creative, Support and Legal teams.
The right person for this roleexcels at solving complex challenges with the power of language and is energized by a culture where quality and collaboration are key. You are comfortable defining your own path without a set playbook and are eager to help establish and champion the processes we need to succeed as a team.
What you'll do:
- Champion Content Design: Proactively identify and iterate on in-app content to improve key metrics and contribute to our Design System for consistency and quality across the platform.
- Own Your Domain: Actively contribute to your team's roadmaps and strategy, with a focus on measurable outcomes for core user journeys.
- Ensure Brand Alignment: Ensure all content upholds Prize Picks' brand voice and delivers the clarity needed for complex topics like game rules, legal disclosures, and regulatory information.
- Test and Validate: Proactively implement content testing in collaboration with Research and Analytics teams to validate design hypotheses and measure impact on player behavior.
- Experience: 5 to 7 years of experience in content design, UX writing, or a similar role, preferably within a fast-paced e-commerce, finance, or gaming company.
- Craftsmanship: Strong understanding of content and UX design principles and methods with a meticulous attention to detail to ensure content is clear, consistent, on-brand, and compliant.
- Portfolio: A strong portfolio demonstrating your use of data and research to influence content decisions.
- Tools: Proficiency with design tools (e.g., Figma). Experience working with AI-powered design tools and analytics platforms a plus.
- Design Influence: The ability to integrate Content Design as an essential partner within the product development process.
- Communication & Teamwork: Excellent communication and collaboration skills. You can clearly articulate decisions. You're comfortable presenting to stakeholders and storytelling shared visions.
- Self-Driven & Organized: Ability to work independently as an individual contributor. You manage your time and projects well in a fast-paced environment, proactively sharing progress and keeping teammates in the loop.
- Continuous Learner: A passion for staying current with the latest in content design. You embrace continuous learning and bring fresh ideas to the team to keep our product experiences cutting-edge.
- This is a hybrid position based at our Prize Picks headquarters in Atlanta, GA. #LI-Hybrid
In addition to your great compensation package, full-time employees will be eligible for the following perks:
- Company-subsidized medical, dental, & vision plans
- 401(k) plan with company match
- Annual bonus
- Flexible PTO to encourage a healthy work/life balance (2 weeks STRONGLY encouraged!)
- Generous paid leave programs, including 16-week paid parental leave and disability benefits
- Workplace flexibility and modern work schedules focused on getting the job done, not hours clocked
- Company-wide in-person events and team outings
- Lifestyle enhancement program
- Company equipment provided (Windows & Mac options)
- Annual performance reviews with opportunities for growth and career development
