Overview
Due to business growth, HGOR seeks a smart, talented, self-motivated project manager with five or more years of experience. Candidate should have strong presentation skills, as well as demonstrated proficiency in landscape architectural site design and master planning. This person will typically direct most aspects of a planning or design project personally, including providing instruction and guidance to staff landscape architects, leading or participating in client presentations, and managing a project’s budget, schedule, and deliverables.
This position involves direct interaction with the firm’s principals and clients. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent initiative, judgment, deductive reasoning, and strong presentation, listening, and communication skills. We also expect determination, persistence, and the ability to work as part of a team. Candidates must be passionate about landscape architecture and creating remarkable places that exceed the goals of our clients.
Responsibilities- Produce sketches, drawings, and renderings to advance a project design.
- Manage and produce a construction document package including hardscape, landscape, grading and drainage, detailing, and specifications.
- Direct most aspects of a planning or design project, provide instruction and guidance to staff landscape architects, lead or participate in client presentations, and manage a project’s budget, schedule, and deliverables.
- Direct interaction with the firm’s principals and clients as part of project execution.
Minimum of a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture degree from an accredited program. Additional education is a plus.

Software Skills RequiredMicrosoft Office, AutoCAD, LandFX, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, Sketch-up.
Technical Skills RequiredExcellent hand graphics, demonstrated proficiency and knowledge of all aspects of landscape architectural site design and planning, including construction detailing and construction document package creation.
Orientation Toward the Built EnvironmentPassionate towards landscape architecture and creating award-winning projects.
Deductive ReasoningDemonstrates excellent judgment on applying unique design solutions aligned with HGOR’s SEE philosophy to project requirements.
