Group Bayport is hiring a senior Design Curator for Neon Earth
, responsible for owning design quality, curation standards, and customer-facing design outcomes. This role leads a team of 3 designers and acts as the final design authority, ensuring all residential design solutions are aligned with brand guidelines, customer needs, and execution feasibility.

The Design Curator works closely with sales, marketing, sourcing, and operations teams to deliver scalable, high-quality design solutions while maintaining a strong focus on aesthetics, functionality, and consistency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Own and enforce the design language, curation guidelines, and quality benchmarks for Neon Earth.
  • Translate trends into practical, timeless design solutions suitable for scale.
  • Ensure consistency in design output across customer projects.
Customer Design Oversight
  • Review customer design proposals and elevate them to meet brand and quality standards.
  • Act as final design sign-off for complex or high-value projects.
  • Ensure customer designs balance personalization, comfort, and durability.
Team Management
  • Manage, mentor, and performance-review a team of 3 designers.
  • Allocate work, set priorities, and ensure adherence to timelines and quality standards.
  • Conduct regular design reviews and capability-building sessions.
Design Curation & Quality Control
  • Curate materials, finishes, furniture, lighting, and décor elements aligned with brand intent.
  • Approve all customer-facing design deliverables.
  • Ensure designs are execution-ready and aligned with sourcing and operational constraints.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with sales, marketing, sourcing, and operations to align design intent with business objectives.
  • Support marketing and brand teams with mood boards, look-books, and visual references.
  • Work with vendors and procurement teams to evaluate materials and products.
Process & Continuous Improvement
  • Improve design review processes, templates, and curation frameworks.
  • Stay updated on interior design and home décor trends, tools, and technologies.
  • Introduce scalable systems that improve efficiency without compromising design quality.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Textile design, Interior Design, Architecture, or related discipline.
  • Experience: 9–12 years of experience in textile design, residential interior design or home décor services, including team leadership or design review responsibilities.
  • Design Expertise: Strong knowledge of space planning, materials, finishes, lighting, and décor.
  • Leadership: Proven ability to manage and mentor design teams.
  • Commercial Awareness: Understanding of cost, timelines, and operational feasibility.
  • Communication: Clear and structured articulation of design decisions to internal stakeholders.
  • Tools: Proficiency in Adobe Suite, or equivalent tools and good to have knowledge of AutoCAD, Sketch Up.
