The opportunity is for a skilled Line Producer to join a character-driven comedy pilot operating under SAG-AFTRA micro-budget guidelines. The project is independently financed and scheduled for production in late March in Atlanta, GA. The selected candidate will play a pivotal role in managing the production’s budget, schedule, and compliance with union requirements, ensuring a smooth and efficient shoot. This position is ideal for professionals with a strong background in narrative television or film, particularly those experienced with micro-budget productions and union regulations.
A hybrid onsite/remote arrangement is preferred, with flexibility for candidates willing to travel.
- Oversee and manage the entire production budget, ensuring all expenditures align with project constraints
- Develop and maintain detailed production schedules, coordinating with department heads and crew
- Ensure full compliance with SAG-AFTRA rules and regulations, including paperwork and reporting
- Supervise day-to-day production logistics, including crew management, equipment rentals, and location coordination
- Liaise between creative, technical, and administrative teams to resolve issues and maintain workflow
- Prepare and submit production reports, call sheets, and other essential documentation
- Support the project’s development for potential series expansion by establishing efficient production processes
- Demonstrated experience as a line producer or production manager on narrative film or television projects, preferably with union (SAG-AFTRA) productions
- Strong knowledge of budgeting, cost tracking, and financial reporting for micro-budget projects
- Proficiency in production scheduling software and tools (e.g., Movie Magic, Studio Binder)
- In-depth understanding of SAG-AFTRA compliance, contracts, and reporting procedures
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with a lean, professional crew in a fast-paced environment
- Availability for a hybrid onsite/remote arrangement in Atlanta, GA, with willingness to travel as needed
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to managing production challenges
