Estimator II

Client:

Established General Contractor with a dynamic team focusing on commercial, office, municipal, and sports projects up to $50 million.

• Ownership across assigned scopes of work
• Opportunity to lead smaller projects within preconstruction
• Involvement in vendor negotiation and contract management
• Exposure to bid package development and cost database management
• Clear progression within a structured estimating team

• Create estimates for assigned scopes of work
• Lead vendor solicitation for assigned trades
• Negotiate pricing and own contracts for assigned scopes
• Develop bid package scopes and assist with bid manual creation
• Support the management of historical cost data and the estimating software database
• Review drawings and specifications to ensure accurate quantity takeoffs

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of industry experience
• Ability to read and interpret construction documents
• Strong math and analytical skills
• Proficiency in estimating and takeoff software
• Working knowledge of Autodesk software
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage deadlines and multiple scopes
• Team-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as required
