Traveling Senior Superintendent – Cooper Tacia General Contracting Company

Join Cooper Tacia General Contracting, a trailblazer in commercial construction. We are looking for an experienced Senior Superintendent to lead our construction projects in Raleigh and Atlanta, driving quality, timeliness, and safety.

Responsibilities
  • Provide strong, hands‑on leadership on the job site, guiding and mentoring Assistant Superintendents and other team members.
  • Oversee the management of construction sites, coordinating subcontractors and supervising employees to ensure smooth operations.
  • Actively mentor and develop Assistant Superintendents, providing guidance, training, and support to enhance their skills.
  • Coordinate the work of all subcontractors on‑site to ensure timely, quality completion and maintain strong relationships.
  • Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including daily logs and reports.
  • Implement and oversee quality control processes to uphold high standards of workmanship.
Qualifications / Requirements
  • At least 10 years of experience in commercial construction with a track record of successful project completions.
  • Extensive experience managing subcontractors and coordinating multiple trades on site.
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed construction goals and project timelines.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and technological communication skills.
  • Strong multitasking and prioritization skills in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Excellent time‑management and proactive problem‑solving abilities.
  • Logical thinking and a commonsense approach to challenges.
  • Proficiency with construction management software and tools.
  • Strong leadership qualities and the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Commitment to safety and quality standards on all job sites.
  • Experience in mentoring and developing junior team members.
  • Valid, insurable U.S. driver’s license.

$90,000 – $135,000 + Per Diem
