Job Details

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Project Manager to join our dynamic team in the Commercial Construction sector. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in commercial construction, especially clinic‑controlled, ground‑up construction, industrial, self‑storage, and concrete projects. Proficiency in Procore is a must. This is a permanent position with ample opportunities for professional growth and development.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the Project Manager in planning, managing, and executing commercial construction projects from inception to completion.
  • Coordinate and supervise construction activities on‑site, ensuring compliance with design specifications, safety protocols, and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other construction professionals to ensure project goals and objectives are met.
  • Utilize Procore software for project management tasks including scheduling, cost control, and communication.
  • Direct involvement in ground‑up construction, industrial projects, self‑storage facilities, and concrete works.
  • Manage project documentation and ensure all aspects of the project are accurately recorded and reported.
  • Identify potential issues or delays and propose effective solutions to mitigate risks.
  • Facilitate regular meetings with project stakeholders to provide updates and gather feedback.
  • Ensure all construction projects are completed within budget and on schedule.
  • Promote a positive and safe work environment at all times.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in the commercial construction industry, with a focus on climate‑controlled, ground‑up construction, industrial, self‑storage, and concrete projects.
  • Proven experience as an Assistant Project Manager or similar role in the construction industry.
  • Proficiency in using Procore or similar project management software.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, equipment, and safety regulations.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Strong problem‑solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team and liaise with various stakeholders.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • Certifications in Project Management, Health and Safety, or related areas would be an advantage.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure.
