What You’ll Do:As a Safety Coordinator
, you serve as a trusted resource on the jobsite—supporting project teams, reinforcing safe work practices, and delivering clear, effective safety messaging where it matters most.
- You have supported day-to-day jobsite safety efforts by helping recognize potential hazards and sharing observations with supervisors and project teams.
- You have assisted with jobsite safety meetings, orientations, and toolbox talks by helping communicate basic safety expectations to employees and subcontractors.
- You helped conduct routine safety walks and inspections, learning how to document findings and follow up on corrective actions.
- You’ve assisted with safety documentation, including training records, inspection logs, and incident reports, using Microsoft Excel and Word.
- You have worked closely with Safety Managers, project leadership, and field teams to learn company safety standards and best practices.
- You participated in required safety training and certification programs, including OSHA coursework and on‑the‑job learning opportunities.
- You can demonstrate that you have remained flexible to support project needs, including travel to jobsites and occasional extended hours or weekend work when required.
The ultimate goal is to inspire a culture of safety that prioritizes each worker’s safe return home each day.
What You’ll Bring :- Four (4)-year safety/health related degree and minimum five (5) years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong working knowledge of federal and state OSHA regulations.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Previous experience in direct supervision of health and safety issues along with administration of programs such as Safety Training, Risk Analysis, Incident Investigations, Incident Loss Analysis, and OSHA related issues, including but not limited to inspections.
