Job DescriptionThe Director of Construction is responsible for leading and managing construction projects across the Southeast market and other regions. This includes overseeing site operations, coordinating subcontractors and vendors, ensuring compliance with specifications, and delivering projects on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities- Provide leadership and oversight for regional construction projects
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and subcontractor/vendor coordination
- Ensure quality control and compliance with safety and environmental standards
- Conduct site inspections and coordinate with local jurisdictions
- Resolve construction conflicts and ensure timely project delivery
- Maintain accurate project documentation and reporting
- Lead subcontractor meetings and enforce performance standards
- Support multiple job sites as needed
- Ensure job sites are clean, organized, and safe
- Perform final inspections and manage punch list completion
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of construction experience (data center experience preferred)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel and Project); experience with Yardi, Procore, or Prolog is a plus
- Strong knowledge of construction trades (Divisions 2–10)
- Ability to read blueprints and identify/resolve deficient work
- Skilled in team leadership, conflict resolution, and customer service
- Strong planning, organizational, and time management skills
