Commercial Construction Estimator

Overview

A well-established and growing commercial general contractor is seeking an Estimator to join its preconstruction team. This individual will play a key role in developing accurate, competitive estimates and supporting projects from concept through award.

• Prepare conceptual, schematic, and detailed cost estimates
• Perform quantity takeoffs and scope reviews
• Solicit, analyze, and level subcontractor bids
• Collaborate with preconstruction and operations teams
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and risk factors
• Support bid strategy and proposal development

• 3+ years of commercial construction estimating experience
• Experience with ground-up and renovation projects
• Strong understanding of construction means and methods
• Proficiency with estimating software and Excel
• Strong communication and organizational skills
