Job Description

We work exclusively with commercial general contractors in Atlanta on office, healthcare, industrial, and institutional projects. This role is for professionals with direct General Contractor safety management experience - subcontractor, vendor, or unrelated safety experience will not be considered.

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Safety Manager to lead and enforce safety programs on behalf of commercial General Contractors. If you have successfully managed safety compliance, inspections, and field safety initiatives directly for General Contractors, this role is a perfect fit.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain safety programs across multiple projects.
• Conduct site safety audits, inspections, and investigations in alignment with company and legal standards.
• Train field staff, subcontractors, and project teams on safety policies and compliance.
• Ensure OSHA and local regulatory compliance for all projects.
• Collaborate with project management and field teams to proactively address safety risks.

Required Qualifications:

• 3+ years of safety management experience with commercial general contractors (direct experience only).
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and construction industry best practices.
• Proven ability to enforce safety programs on medium to large-scale commercial projects.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Safety certifications (e.g., CSP, CHST, OSHA 30, OSHA 500+510) preferred.
