Construction Contracts Manager

As the Construction Contracts Manager you’ll own the project agreement process from start to finish and serve as the go-to expert for all contract-related matters. You’ll work closely with Preconstruction and Project Management to review, negotiate, track, and execute agreements efficiently. You’ll also help Project Managers interpret contracts and handle required notice letters with confidence and accuracy.

• Own the full lifecycle of project agreements, including subcontracts, POs, and related documents
• Review and negotiate contract language using approved standards and fallback positions
• Coordinate internal reviews and approvals to keep agreements moving
• Track execution status and drive accountability to prevent delays
• Act as the gatekeeper for contract compliance and consistency
• Maintain and improve contract templates, processes, and workflows
• Support Project Managers with contract interpretation and notice letters
• Serve as a compliance checkpoint before notices are issued
• Coordinate with outside legal counsel on routine matters and escalate higher-risk issues
• Keep agreements organized and chase signatures when needed

• Experience with construction contracts, subcontracts, or related legal/contract roles
• Construction industry experience strongly preferred (subcontractor or GC)
• Comfortable owning complex processes and driving results independently
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Confident communicator who can hold the line on standards while staying practical
